Prince William sent an important reminder to people worldwide by sharing what gives him hope on a rainy, dreary day. The Prince of Wales has taken part in several engagements on World Suicide Prevention Day to raise awareness about a significant topic: mental health challenges and asking for help.
The Royal Foundation has launched On Your Side, which is a suicide prevention toolkit for every level of sport. Ryan Hall, a digital content creator, sat down with the future King William, asking what gives him hope during tough times.
Prince George's father shared, "I think days like today, where we have got upstairs, all these brilliant athletes and charities who have been working tirelessly in a sort of mental health and suicide space. I see the power of everyone together. Being able to support one another, show kindness."
He added, "Show the fact that we have got time for each other. I think life's so busy now we forget to listen. We all want to talk about ourselves; we all get in our own little worlds too much, and sometimes lifting your eyes up to the horizon is really important because you see what's around you. So that gives you hope."
