The three-year-old boy who was attacked by a crocodile in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, on June 18, 2026, has returned home from the hospital and is recovering well, his family shared. The family said that the boy appears to be happy since returning home a few weeks ago.

In an update on the fundraising page, the family said: "Now that we are home, our son's rehabilitation journey continues and we can focus on ensuring our son has the best possible chance at recovery." They added that they attend the hospital frequently to plan the next steps and work on them together as a family.

All of his immediate surgeries are over for now, which means the family can now focus entirely on rehabilitation at home. In an earlier update, the boy's family stated that the three-year-old had undergone seven complex operations following the shocking incident.

The fundraiser, which was set up to provide financial support to the family while the boy was recovering in hospital, has raised around £113,000 to date. Meanwhile, police investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the attack and related legal proceedings.
