Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's long-running massive fight over Château Miraval took another turn, with Pitt now asking a judge to step in. According to a report by RadarOnline, Pitt wants Jolie to give financial records which are lined to their dispute over the French estate and winery.
The records reportedly cover the years 2017 to 2019 as the actor's lawyers say Jolie earlier agreed to provide the documents but later changed her mind. The filing reportedly says that Jolie withdrew her agreement, while Pitt's team claims emails show she earlier did agree to share the information.
His lawyers have also offered another way to end the request, stating they would drop it if Jolie agrees she was not under economic pressure before January 1, 2020. Jolie's lawyers disagree with the request, arguing that she has never alleged financial problems and the information is not needed.
Her side maintains that the issue is about keeping her finances separate from Pitt after their divorce. Jolie has previously stated she wanted to sell her interest in Miraval to distance herself from the property, as the legal battle between the former couple continues in court.
