Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti held a meeting on Sunday with Major General Faisal Naseer, National Coordinator of the National Counter Terrorism Authority (Nacta), to review the province's overall security situation and strengthen coordination against terrorism.

During the meeting, both sides discussed measures to enhance intelligence coordination, improve the capacity of law enforcement agencies and develop a comprehensive strategy for sustainable peace in Balochistan.

The talks focused on ensuring effective collaboration between Nacta and the provincial government in counter-terrorism efforts, a CM Secretariat news release said.

Chief Minister Bugti praised Major General Faisal Naseer's valuable services in the field of counter-terrorism and expressed appreciation for his role in advancing national security objectives. The meeting underscored the government's commitment to intensifying efforts against terrorism and building a secure environment for the people of Balochistan.
