Clark enters uncharted territory in Fever's dominant win over Sun

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark entered uncharted territory with a history-making performance, dropping 34 points against the Connecticut Sun. Clark becomes the first WNBA player with consecutive games of 30-plus points and 10-plus assists.

Clark and Mitchell ran the show for the Fever on Friday night, scoring or assisting on 92 of the team's 111 points, the third-highest single-game total in WNBA history. The feat comes as the Fever defeated the Sun 111-91 on Friday, August 28, in Indianapolis.

Clark's stellar game featured a double-double with 34 points on 50 percent shooting from three-point land and 12 assists, marking her fifth double-double of the season. In a postgame interview, Clark said she feels probably the best she has ever felt in her career, pointing to the back issues she suffered earlier this season.

It also marks the fourth game where the Fever's trailblazing duo posted 30 or more points this season, breaking their own WNBA single-season record for a duo. The records poured in, as the duo also achieved another milestone in WNBA history - becoming the first teammates to score at least 30 points each in consecutive games.
