Doechii and Chappell Roan found time for a little fun of their own in between their highly anticipated live sets. The two stars were captured sharing a playful backstage moment at Daisy Chain Fields in Irvine, California. Footage from the Saturday, August 29, festival captured them dancing, laughing and interacting with each other ahead of their performances.

In the 53-second clip circulating online, Doechii, whose real name is Jaylah Hickmon, immediately catches the eye in vibrant head-to-toe pink body paint. She completed her look with pigtails and furry accents. Roan, whose real name is Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, meanwhile, appeared in her signature red bob and a lilac-and-purple ensemble.

The pair can be seen joking around and gesturing toward each other, seemingly taking in each other's looks before dancing together. At several points, they hold hands and continue their playful exchange, creating a lighthearted moment away from the festival stages. Doechii, 28, took the Dandelion Stage in the early evening, while Roan, also 28, followed later with her own set.

The festival itself was created as much more than a music event. Organized by Olivia Rodrigo, Daisy Chain Fields brought together an all-women or women-fronted lineup. Moreover, the event is inspired by the spirit of Lilith Fair, with proceeds directed toward nonprofits supporting and advocating for women and girls.
