The Prosecution Department of Punjab has declared the Hina Javed murder case a high-profile matter, forming a special committee of senior prosecutors to oversee the investigation and trial. Prosecutor General Punjab Irfan Sadiq Tarar directed District Public Prosecutor Rawalpindi Mian Imran Rahim to ensure effective legal follow-up for the case registered at the Civil Lines police station.

Reviewing the case file, evidence, and investigation progress, Rahim issued directives to investigative officers to adopt a comprehensive and scientific approach. Officials were instructed to explore all possible angles to ensure no crucial evidence is overlooked during the proceedings.

According to preliminary findings, prime suspect Faisal Asghar and his accomplices allegedly murdered Hina Javed by strangulating her. The case has drawn significant public attention, prompting higher authorities to monitor the legal procedures closely to ensure swift justice.

The newly formed special committee will coordinate with law enforcement agencies and oversee the submission of the challan in court. The prosecution aims to build a watertight case against the suspects to ensure they face strict legal consequences.
