J. Cole has canceled his Sacramento concert after a member of his touring crew was killed in a truck accident just hours before the rapper was due to take the stage.
The rapper, 41, was scheduled to perform as part of his The Fall-Off World Tour, and the venue announced the cancellation following the fatal crash.
Authorities reported that the truck carrying tour equipment overturned on Interstate 5 in Yolo County, identifying the victim as 66-year-old Jarlath Parkinson.
The investigation suggests the driver may have been distracted or fallen asleep, while Cole's remaining tour dates are expected to resume in Oakland.
