again, sending Madison Square Garden concert goers wild with 2008 magic. On Thursday night, August 20, Kevin, Joe and Nick turned back the clock bringing the energy, fashion and hits of their Disney-era heyday back to MSG as they kicked off their Burning Up Tour All Over Again. Opening their three-night New York run, the trio delivered a nostalgia-heavy spectacle built around a clever two-act format.
The first half recreated their iconic 2008 tour, while the second moved through their post-reunion hits, solo material and brand-new music. The opening act played like a time capsule for longtime fans. The brothers worked through songs including That's Just the Way We Roll, Hold On, Shelf, S.O.S., Lovebug and Burnin' Up, essentially recreating the setlist that helped turn them into global teen idols nearly two decades ago.
After a 20-minute intermission, the brothers returned with a very different chapter of their story, performing more recent favourites including Waffle House, Only Human, What a Man Gotta Do and Sucker, alongside selections from their solo and side projects. But the night wasn't only about looking back. The Jonas Brothers also gave the packed Garden a first listen to their new single Listen When Sad, performing the song live for the first time during the second half of the concert.
And there was an unexpected twist to the finale. Big Rob's scheduled appearance during the first act was delayed by bad weather, so the brothers turned the situation into part of the show, bringing their signature Burnin' Up back for a second outing to close the night with their guest. The opening-night crowd also included a familiar face from the Jonas family circle, with Priyanka Chopra Jonas there to support her husband Nick as the band began its massive comeback-to-the-classics tour.
