Jonathan Bailey supported Ariana Grande by getting a spot in the audience at her latest concert during her ongoing Eternal Sunshine Tour residency in London. On Thursday, August 27, the Bridgerton star was spotted singing along to the Bang Bang hitmaker's songs at The O2 Arena. As the 33-year-old pop star performed the eighth of her 10 sold-out London shows, concertgoers quickly picked up on her Wicked co-star's presence.
Videos from the night captured the 38-year-old actor enjoying the performance, grooving and singing along to We Can't Be Friends, prompting playful reactions online. It is pertinent to note that Bailey and Grande have developed a close friendship through their work together on Wicked and Wicked: For Good, with her previously playing an unreleased track for her co-star at her home before its debut.
His appearance in the crowd also comes after another memorable Wicked reunion at the residency. On August 16, Cynthia Erivo joined the 7 Rings chart-topper onstage during the encore to perform For Good and a medley of Get Happy / Happy Days Are Here Again.
While Erivo, who played future Wicked Witch of the West Elphaba Thropp in the film adaptation of the hit musical, shared the stage with Grande, Bailey cheered her from the stands among other fans, demonstrating their continued mutual support.
