Prince Harry will be making his return to Britain special as he is expected to take the lead in a very important event, which also happens to be close to Prince William's heart. Even though King Charles's two sons remain estranged, they are still patrons of the Diana Award charity, which celebrates young people every year, following the legacy of the late Princess of Wales.
The brothers, though separated, are united in their love for their mother. And every year, the event is led by one brother as to avoid any awkwardness. The Mail on Sunday reported that this year could be tricky. It is understood the ceremony will be held at Raffles London and Meghan would be attending too.
"Harry is expected to take the lead at this event," a source revealed. "The brothers tend to take it in turns." They continued, "You won't see the two men attending an event together any time soon - especially if Meghan is there." Moreover, the Diana Award started looking for "wealthy individuals to buy tables this summer" and the Duchess of Sussex could help with that.
"You got the impression that Meghan's attendance was not nailed-on yet, but it will be just the right sort of high-profile and glitzy occasion for her London debut." However, another insider claimed that Kensington Palace will have a lot of people "uneasy" if Meghan is coming. And the Save-the-dates invites were sent 2 weeks ago.
