A new video has been leaked from the set of The Batman: Part II, giving fans another glimpse of Robert Pattinson's Bruce Wayne. Interestingly, this time, the billionaire finds himself at the center of a tense public confrontation. The roughly 12-second clip, which surfaced online on 13 September, shows Pattinson, 40, in character as the Dark Knight's alter ego while filming an outdoor sequence in London. Dressed in a dark suit and tie, the Gotham billionaire heir can be seen being escorted through a dense crowd by police officers as protesters surround the steps of a grand classical building.
The scene appears to depict a public demonstration, with extras holding protest signs, shouting and recording the unfolding situation on their phones. Police in uniform and high-visibility vests attempt to control the crowd as Wayne makes his way down the steps toward a waiting vehicle. The chaotic sequence is clearly part of the film's production, with cameras, crew members and a boom microphone visible around the action. A white classical statue holding what appears to be a golden trident can also be seen in the background, adding to the grand Gotham setting created for the shoot.
Some of the signs seen in related set footage reportedly feature slogans targeting Gotham's wealthy elite, including references to greed, oligarchs and the rich getting richer. One partially visible sign in the leaked video appears to read "YOUR CITY IS US," while other signs from the wider shoot have fueled speculation about whether the movie could be exploring Gotham's powerful ruling class. The footage was reportedly captured during filming in London as Matt Reeves' highly anticipated sequel continues production.
