Marcello Hernández apparently decided that presenting an Emmy wasn't enough - he also wanted to secure a dinner date with Zendaya and Spider-Man. While presenting the award for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series at the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday night, the Saturday Night Live cast member spotted Zendaya and Tom Holland in the audience and made a rather bold invitation.
"I saw you and I wanted to play it cool, and I've decided I can't do that," Hernández joked before turning his attention to the couple. "So, I would like to invite you and Spider-Man to have dinner at my house." The unexpected shout-out prompted plenty of laughs, with Zendaya and Holland smiling and laughing as the camera cut to them in the audience.
