Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met US diplomat Natalie Baker on Wednesday to discuss regional security, economic cooperation and joint counterterrorism initiatives.

The high-level discussions centered on strengthening bilateral relations, expanding mutual investment opportunities and reviewing key security developments across the region.

Both officials emphasised the importance of sustained diplomatic contacts and strategic coordination to advance shared interests between Pakistan and the United States.

During the meeting, envoy Baker praised Pakistan's ongoing contributions and sacrifices in combating terrorism, while Minister Naqvi reiterated the country's commitment to global defence efforts and regional peace.
