Princess Kate's confidence has blossomed, expert reveals what has changed

The Princess of Wales has entered a new phase of royal life, with her growing confidence becoming increasingly apparent. Following her cancer treatment, Kate has gradually returned to a fuller programme of royal engagements, taking on commitments at home and abroad. She travelled to Italy earlier this year and is also expected to accompany Prince William on a potential visit to India in November, although the trip has not yet been officially confirmed.

According to BBC royal commentator Simon Vigar, Kate has also become far more assured in finding her own voice. Speaking to HELLO!, the author of The Four Wives of Windsor reflected on how much she has developed since her early years as a working royal. "I think Catherine is definitely more confident now," Simon said, while noting that she appears increasingly "authentic" in her public statements.

Simon acknowledged that this was not always easy for the Princess. "It's no secret she found it difficult to start with," he said, noting that she has become "a lot better at it now". Her involvement in the Three Peaks Challenge was one example that brought a new sense of purpose. The demanding challenge combined Kate's interest in physical wellbeing with a fundraising effort for the Royal Marsden, where she has also carried out a recent visit.

Simon believes these experiences have helped shape Catherine's public presence, describing her as someone who has "really blossomed" since completing her treatment.
