Transfers and postings have been made in the federal bureaucracy affecting several key administrative positions across various ministries and departments.
Chief Finance Officer of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Zulfiqar Khan has been transferred and his services repatriated to the office of the Auditor General of Pakistan. Waseem Arshad, who was awaiting appointment, has been posted as the Chief Finance Officer of the Religious Affairs Division. Both officers are in Grade-20 and belong to the Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service.
Police Service Grade-19 officer Abdul Haq Umrani, who was posted with the Islamabad Police, has been transferred and posted to the National Highways and Motorway Police. The services of Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Federal Education Asad Akhtar Abbas have been repatriated to the National Talent Pool, while the services of Deputy Secretary Ghulam Khaliq, posted in the Establishment Division, have been placed at the disposal of the Government of Punjab.
Grade-19 Pakistan Administrative Service officer Aun Haider Gondal has been transferred from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to the Government of Punjab. Grade-18 Pakistan Administrative Service officer Farhan Ahmed, posted in the Islamabad administration, has also been transferred and his services placed at the disposal of the Government of Punjab. Dr. Fahad Khalid, posted under the federal Ministry of Health, has been repatriated to the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
