Trump Cuts the Fat: Farmers and Ranchers Get Green Light to Process Own Meat

United States (U.S.) President Donald Trump has taken a major step to end the alleged monopoly of four food processing companies in the U.S., which occupy over 85% of the country's meat processing market. The 47th POTUS has signed an order allowing farmers and ranchers to process their own food in response to years of complaints against "Big Processors."

In a post on his Truth Social platform, the Republican president praised farmers and ranchers, describing them as "hard, smart, efficient, and immaculately CLEAN," adding that they have been a number one priority for him. He noted the complaints about big processors, saying they are very few - only four in number - and that they have a "nasty monopoly" over the U.S. market. Trump added that these big processors make life "miserable for our wonderful farmers and ranchers," while vowing that he won't let it happen anymore.

Trump wrote, "So, in order to break this powerful monopoly, with much of its ownership based outside of the U.S., I am authorizing legal documents to be drawn in order to allow farmers and ranchers to be given the right to PROCESS THEIR OWN FOOD." President Donald J. Trump stated, ending the post with his signature remarks, "Thank you for your attention to this matter! TRUMP."
