Vicky Pattison Steps Into New Role, Replacing Gemma Atkinson in Podcast Shake-up

Vicky Pattison has landed an exciting new opportunity as the co-host of Women's Health UK's 'Just As Well' podcast. The 38-year-old TV star will share the platform with Women's Health Editor-in-Chief Claire Sanderson.

The pair are gearing up to explore a diverse range of topics covering women's physical and mental health. Speaking about her new role, the former Geordie Shore star remarked: 'I'm absolutely thrilled to be joining Just As Well and to be having these honest, important conversations with Claire and the brilliant guests we have lined up.'

She added, 'Women's health is something I'm incredibly passionate about, and I know from my own experience how confusing, isolating and overwhelming it can feel trying to find answers. From PMDD and fertility to ADHD, hormones and mental wellbeing, there's still so much we need to talk about openly and without judgement.'

Pattison continued, 'I'm looking forward to sharing my own experiences, asking the questions so many women are asking themselves, and helping create a space where listeners feel informed, supported and less alone.' Vicky will take over from former Hollyoaks star Gemma Atkinson, who previously hosted the podcast alongside Claire.

The transition marks a significant shift for the popular audio series, which has gained a loyal following for its candid approach to wellness. The podcast aims to bridge the gap in information regarding complex health issues that often go undiscussed in mainstream media.

By bringing in a personality like Pattison, the production team hopes to reach a wider demographic of listeners who value authenticity. Claire Sanderson expressed her excitement about the collaboration, noting that Pattison's personal journey and public transparency make her an ideal partner for the show's mission.

The upcoming episodes are expected to feature experts from various medical fields. Listeners can expect a blend of personal anecdotes and professional advice as the duo tackles sensitive subjects.

The show remains committed to its core mission of providing a safe space for women to navigate their health journeys. As the media landscape continues to evolve, podcasts have become a primary source of health education for many.

This partnership is expected to bolster the influence of the 'Just As Well' brand significantly. Fans of both Pattison and the podcast have expressed their support on social media, anticipating the fresh perspective she will bring to the table.

The first episode featuring the new lineup is scheduled for release later this month.
