Alan Cumming Wins Third Emmy For The Traitors

Call it a hat trick, a winning streak or simply another day at the castle for Alan Cumming. The Traitors host stayed faithful to his winning streak and walked away with another trophy. There was no betrayal in Cumming's 2026 Emmy night as the actor has scored his third Emmy for hosting the reality show.

On Saturday, September 5, the 61-year-old won Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program for Peacock's show during the 2026 Creative Arts Emmys ceremony. The filmmaker previously won the same category in both 2024 and 2025 after he began hosting The Traitors during its first season in 2023.

With his latest feat, Cumming beat out other nominees for the category, including RuPaul Charles (RuPaul's Drag Race), Kristen Kish (Top Chef), Ariana Madix (Love Island USA) and Jeff Probst (Survivor). It is pertinent to note that Cumming also hosts the new series The Traitors: New Blood with an all-civilian cast instead of celebrities, premiering on NBC on Thursday, September 17.

Additionally, the 78th Creative Arts Emmy Awards, held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, will be edited into a single broadcast that airs on Saturday, September 12, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FXX and streams on Hulu the next day.
