Former GMA3 co-anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have officially married in a private ceremony held in the state of Arkansas.

The wedding took place on 19 September in Washington County, according to a marriage license registered on Tuesday and obtained by PEOPLE magazine. Robach, 53, and Holmes, 49, had applied for the legal documentation on 18 September, marking a significant milestone in their high-profile relationship.

Arkansas holds personal significance for Holmes, as it is his home state. He was born in West Memphis and completed his higher education at the University of Arkansas.

The couple had previously announced their engagement on their popular podcast, 'Amy & T.J.', in October 2025, where they revealed that they had been privately engaged for approximately one month prior to the public announcement. A source close to the couple informed Us Weekly that they deliberately opted for a destination wedding to avoid the intense media frenzy that has followed them since their relationship began.

They expressed a strong desire for their children to be present and to accompany them down the aisle during the intimate ceremony. Robach noted in a podcast episode this past May that this union marks the third marriage for both individuals.

Their romance first became a subject of public scrutiny in November 2022. At that time, Robach was still married to actor Andrew Shue, while Holmes was married to attorney Marilee Fiebig.

The situation led to significant professional fallout, as ABC removed them from the air during an internal review process. Both anchors eventually departed the network in January 2023.

Throughout the controversy, the pair has consistently maintained that they were already separated from their respective spouses at the time their relationship began. Despite the challenges faced during their departure from mainstream broadcasting, the couple has remained resilient.
