The big 50 is a huge milestone!!! Keep on keepin' on OG!!!" he wrote.
The unexpected age mix-up or deliberate joke gave the birthday tribute its humorous twist. .Paak, 40, affectionately refers to Bruno as "slugger," "champ," and "OG," highlighting the familiarity that defines their friendship. The birthday message was accompanied by photographs of Bruno and .Paak performing together in Europe, shared on Tuesday, September 1.
The images showcased the duo on stage in matching black cropped performance jackets, featuring heavily embellished shoulders and lapels covered in shimmering rhinestones and studs. The sparkling details created a starry, glittering effect under the concert lights, adding extra flair to their coordinated stage looks.
Fans were quick to react to the post, noting the chemistry between the two musicians who have dominated the charts since forming their collaborative project. The duo has been known for their high-energy performances and impeccable style, often coordinating their outfits to match the retro-funk aesthetic of their music.
This latest social media interaction further solidified their status as one of the most beloved bromances in the music industry. While Bruno Mars has yet to publicly respond to the specific age-related jab, the playful nature of the post suggests that the two remain in high spirits.
The post has since garnered thousands of likes and comments from fans who appreciate the lighthearted banter. As the music world continues to follow their individual and collective journeys, moments like these provide a glimpse into the genuine bond shared by the artists.
It remains to be seen if Bruno will retaliate with a prank of his own when .Paak's next birthday rolls around. For now, the fans are content with the laughter provided by this unexpected birthday tribute.
