Katie Price has revealed that her 24-year-old son, Harvey, will soon start taking Mounjaro to improve his quality of life. Speaking to her sister Sophie on The Katie Price Show podcast, the 48-year-old former glamour model explained that Harvey's BMI is 59, which is more than double the level classed as obese.
Harvey lives with Prader-Willi Syndrome, blindness, and autism. Price previously confessed that seeing him tip the scales at 30 stone breaks her heart, noting that the medication is necessary for his health rather than appearance.
"So he needs it for his health. This isn't for looks, it's for a better quality of life for him," Price said. She added that the treatment will help him walk more, have more energy, and ride rollercoasters.
Sophie agreed with the decision during the podcast, stating that the treatment will really help him because he is currently struggling. The announcement follows a recent family trip to Ibiza, where Price enjoyed a beach party with Harvey at Wayne Lineker's O Beach club.
