Minister of State for Finance and Railways Bilal Azhar Kayani has assured exporters of continued government support and measures to streamline the tax framework, resolve industry-related disputes and create a more conducive environment for export-led growth.

Addressing a consultative meeting with representatives of major exporters' associations in Karachi, Kayani briefed business leaders on the government's tax policy, including relief measures announced for exporters in the federal budget.

Kayani also heard exporters' concerns about tax-related operational matters and discussed possible measures to address issues confronting export-oriented industries. He said the government is committed to facilitating trade, improving the tax system and strengthening the overall export environment.

The meeting was attended by prominent business leaders and senior representatives of major national trade bodies representing sectors including textiles, garments, leather, fisheries, rice, meat, fruit and vegetables, engineering, chemicals and other export-oriented industries.
