The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has directed the police to provide a record of all actions taken, raids conducted and cases registered against members of the provincial assembly (MPAs) across the province during the last few days. Sources told The letter has sought details of arrests, raids and cases against MPAs, ministers, advisers and special assistants in any district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by any law-enforcement force during the last several days.
The police have been directed to provide details of any other actions taken against MPAs and their families in any part of KP. The force has been asked to provide the details within two weeks. Unidentified persons raided the houses of a number of ministers and MPAs, while a couple of lawmakers were also picked up in Peshawar and other districts in the last week.
