Meghan Markle has not been seen on British soil since the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II four years ago, despite being here in the UK a few weeks ago when the Highgrove meeting with King Charles occurred. There was only a glimpse of Meghan when she arrived with Prince Harry at Birmingham Airport at the end of August, but the Sussexes have not been seen out and about.
Moreover, schools have started for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, but there wasn't a peep from anyone. It appears that the former Suits actress is looking for the perfect time to finally break cover even as Prince Harry inks his list of engagements that would take place over the course of the month.
"Meghan is totally focused on getting the kids settled for now," a source told The Sun. "There are a lot of things to arrange." The report suggested that it could be weeks before she makes any public appearance. However, these weeks will be some of the busiest for the royal family as all of them have returned from their summer break.
Moreover, one State Visit and an overseas visit by King Charles and Queen Camilla are slated to take place in October. Royal fans would predict that this is a common pattern followed by Meghan to somehow piggyback off the buzz of the royal engagements and attract attention to her event. Prince Harry is also set to mark his comeback with not just the WellChild Awards but also will be skydiving for military charities after making a promise to veteran Ed Marshall, 102, during a visit to Toronto, Canada, last November.
