Prince Harry, who is understood to make the upcoming iteration of the Invictus Games 'the best one yet', received some good news about his passion project, especially after his return to the UK. The Duke of Sussex is slated to make a slew of engagements in September, including the WellChild Awards and a skydiving event for raising funds for military charities.
He is likely to do more promotional events for the Invictus Games in Birmingham in the coming weeks. Although, it seems that Harry's return proved to be beneficial for the foundation as the team shared some delightful updates. The event earned its new partnership with charity Team Forces to secure funding through fundraising initiatives and corporate partnerships.
'We're delighted to welcome Team Forces as our Official Fundraising Partner,' Helen Helliwell, Chief Executive Officer of the Invictus Games Birmingham 2027, said. Meanwhile, Lamont Kirkland, CEO of Team Forces, said that they are proud to become the official partner for the event, which was founded by Harry in 2014.
The Games continue to support the recovery and rehabilitation of wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans. Meanwhile, tickets are available for purchase and it was reported that invitations have been kept for the Royal Family members including King Charles.
