The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) issued No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to 12 national cricketers, allowing them to participate in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2026 and the County Championship.
Left-arm spinner Noman Ali was roped in by Lancashire for the remainder of the County Championship, with his NOC valid until September 27. He is set to make his Lancashire debut against Northamptonshire on August 20 in the club's Red Ball Celebration match at Old Trafford.
Besides Noman, 11 national cricketers - Shadab Khan, Sufiyan Muqeem, Sahibzada Farhan, Naseem Shah, Hunain Shah, Hasan Nawaz, Usman Khan, Maaz Sadaqat, Mohammad Haris, Usman Tariq and Usama Mir - were granted NOCs for the CPL 2026, which got underway on Friday.
Shadab, Muqeem, Farhan, Naseem, Hunain, Hasan, Usman and Maaz were issued NOCs valid from August 19 to September 21, following the completion of their commitments in the National Champions Cup 2026-27 in Multan.
Wicketkeeper batter Haris was issued an NOC from August 7 to September 20, mystery spinner Tariq from August 8 to 18, and leg-spinner Mir from August 7 to September 21.
