The couple reportedly called it quits "a while ago" but The Materialists star and the singer recently made headlines when her voice appeared on the track Love You I from his new album. Social media users flocked to the comments after "  Another mourned, "love i you is being cut from the setlist we lost," and "breaking up right after he made an entire album about her with her voice on it i just know he cheated," wrote one.

While one chimed in, "i doubt anyone would've expected them to last particularly long but the timing of this is kinda strange? Didn't his album with some loved up feature from her that was a big part of the promo just come out? If they broke up a while ago...wouldn't they have removed that or at the very least downplayed it?".
