The movie will reportedly be directed by Lorene Scafaria and will remain faithful to the source novel, which follows a calculating grifter navigating the treacherous world of summer in the Hamptons. The book impressed a wide variety of readers worldwide, making the screen adaptation highly anticipated.
Fans on social media were thrilled to hear about the 'Stranger Things' star's potential casting, with one user writing, "Yessss, she will be a perfect cast." Industry insiders suggest that Sink's involvement could elevate the project, given her recent string of successful performances.
The production team is currently finalizing the remaining cast members to ensure the film captures the tense atmosphere of the original literary work. The story of 'The Guest' explores themes of identity, manipulation, and the stark divide between social classes.
