The attorneys representing Nolan Wells' three friends - Warren Hudson, Iax Pitalo, and Morgan Seymour - are Mississippi-based high-profile lawyers specializing in defamation and media law.

In a letter addressed to Sharpton's legal team, Cox and Paltzik alleged that Sharpton defamed the three men during a July 14 interview with TMZ (ٹی ایم زیڈ) and in subsequent remarks following Wells' death.
