The Tehreek Tahaffuz Aiyeen-e-Pakistan (Tehreek Tahafuz Ayeen-e-Pakistan (TTAP)) on Tuesday formally invited the Pakistan Peoples Party to participate in its proposed All Parties Conference (APC), with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Parliamentarians Secretary General Nayyar Hussain Bukhari saying the invitation would be placed before Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for a decision. A Tehreek Tahafuz Ayeen-e-Pakistan (TTAP) delegation comprising Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, opposition leader in the Senate Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, Senator Zeeshan Khanzada and Tehreek Tahafuz Ayeen-e-Pakistan (TTAP) spokesman Akhunzada Hussain Yousafzai called on Bukhari at the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Central Secretariat in Islamabad and briefed him on the objectives and agenda of the proposed conference.
The meeting also discussed the prevailing political situation, constitutional supremacy, strengthening of democratic institutions and contacts among political parties. Bukhari said the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) considered political engagement and consultation with other parties important, particularly on constitutional and democratic matters.
