Pakistan's Ambassador to the US, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, has invited American business leaders and investors to explore investment opportunities across diverse sectors including the digital economy, banking, special projects financing, agritech, and aviation.
During meetings in Sacramento, the capital of California, Sheikh briefed business delegations and met with California State Treasurer Fiona Ma to discuss strengthening historical and economic ties, calling economic, trade, and educational cooperation a top government priority.
Sheikh also met Dr. Alfred Cheung, founder of Northern State University, to discuss joint initiatives in health, medical research, and technology, while visiting pharmaceutical firm DosePacker to encourage investment in Pakistan's skilled workforce.
Additionally, the envoy met with the Pakistani-American community in Sacramento, praising their contributions and describing them as an important bridge in promoting bilateral relations between the two countries.
