Security forces have eliminated eight Indian-sponsored terrorists in three separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Balochistan province. On October 17, security forces conducted three IBOs in Quetta, Nushki and Khuzdar districts on the reported presence of terrorists belonging to an Indian proxy, and killed eight terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Sunday.
A terrorists' attempt to establish a roadblock in the Panjpai area of Quetta district to disrupt traffic was intercepted by security forces, resulting in the killing of five of them. Also, during a sanitization operation in Nushki district, security forces busted a terrorist hideout and, after an intense fire exchange, two Indian-sponsored terrorists were sent to hell.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered. In another operation in Khuzdar district, a terrorist hideout was engaged by security forces through prompt offensive action and one Indian-sponsored terrorist was killed.
