Jordyn Blum continues to stand by her husband Dave Grohl two years after he admitted to fathering a child outside of their marriage. Blum was there to support the Foo Fighters frontman as he joined AC/DC on stage at MetLife Stadium for their final Power Up Tour concert on October 2.
Grohl stepped in to provide backing vocals when the Pretty Reckless were unable to perform. Reflecting on the moment on the November 1 episode of The Rock podcast, Grohl, 57, admitted he was "sobbing like a baby" after the performance.
"I walked off stage, and I broke down in tears, sobbing like a baby. I was sobbing, like wailing, and I couldn't believe it.
I was like, 'That is one of the most full-circle moments of my entire life,' and I will never forget it." The couple, who tied the knot in 2003 and share three daughters together, decided to move forward together despite the former Nirvana drummer's bombshell confession in September 2024.
"I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage," Grohl wrote in an Instagram statement at the time. "I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.
I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness." Five months later, People magazine reported that Blum decided against divorce. "It was just such a shock for Jordyn.
Her first instinct was that she wanted a divorce," a source told the outlet. "The betrayal felt too heavy.
But as weeks passed, she got some space to think and it just felt very sad to her if the family would split up." Since then, they have made several public appearances together.
Their most recent joint outing was at the 2026 VMAs, where Nirvana reunited to honour Kurt Cobain. Observers noted that the couple appeared determined to leave past controversies behind.
Friends close to the family have emphasized that rebuilding trust remains an ongoing process, but both are committed to prioritizing their children's well-being. Fans and media outlets continue to follow their journey closely as the veteran musician balances his high-profile career with repairing his personal life.
