Diana Charity Suffers Brutal Blow Amid William-Harry Backdoor Friction

The friction between the estranged brothers is seemingly pulling on the last string of connection as a shocking last-minute decision indicates a deepening rift. Prince William and Prince Harry may not be on speaking terms, but they have always been aligned in their loyalty toward their beloved mum, Princess Diana. Despite their feud, they continue to work for the Diana Award charity, launched in 1999 in memory of Diana, to recognize young people who are working to create positive change in their communities.

But due to the ongoing feud, a major event was cancelled just two weeks prior, according to royal reporter Charlotte Griffiths. A black-tie gala dinner for the charity, which was set to be held at Raffles London at The OWO on September 18, was abruptly cancelled owing to complications behind the scenes.

She explained that William and Harry take turns organizing the events for the charity, and this time it was Harry's turn. However, when William got wind that Meghan wanted to be involved, the Prince of Wales did not want that to happen.

"Maybe The Diana Award is kind of one of their last forms of communication," she said, adding, "So maybe this is the last vehicle they have. Is it okay if Harry brings his wife? Possibly not, if you're Prince William." The real reason behind the cancellation is yet to be revealed.
