NCCIA Summons Rizwan and Imam in Mobile Data Probe

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has issued call-up notices to cricketers Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq, summoning them as part of an investigation involving data retrieved from their mobile phones, sources said. According to sources, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) took custody of the players' mobile phones before handing them over to the relevant authorities.

The agency issued notices to the two cricketers on Monday, directing them to appear at its Lahore office on Friday, the sources added. Rizwan and Imam will be asked to unlock their mobile phones, while investigators examine information retrieved from the devices as part of the inquiry.

Sources indicate that the investigation focuses on alleged dressing-room leaks during Pakistan's ongoing series against England, with a third cricketer reportedly receiving a notice as well. The inquiry aims to determine the source of unauthorized communications and confidential information emerging from the team environment.

Both players are expected to cooperate with the cyber crime watchdog as the probe progresses. The Pakistan Cricket Board has maintained that it is monitoring the situation closely while cooperating fully with legal and investigative frameworks.
