Josh Duhamel Reveals He Still Owns His 'Las Vegas' Camaro

Josh Duhamel says he still owns the yellow Camaro he drove on the hit television show Las Vegas. The actor revealed the keepsake to PEOPLE magazine while discussing his new partnership with STOKE Shoes.

"I still have the yellow Camaro that I drove on that show," he said. "So I think about it often."

He called the role "one of those opportunities that really changed the trajectory of my career." It marked his significant move from daytime television to prime time, occurring just before his major rise in the film industry. The show remains a nostalgic touchstone for the actor, representing a pivotal era in his professional life.

He had come from the ABC soap All My Children, where he played the character Leo du Pres from 1999 to 2002 and won a Daytime Emmy Award. Las Vegas ran for 5 successful seasons and starred James Caan, alongside Vanessa Marcil, Molly Sims, Nikki Cox, James Lesure, Marsha Thomason, and later Tom Selleck.

Duhamel successfully juggled the series with various film projects, including Win a Date with Tad Hamilton! and the blockbuster Transformers. He continued his momentum with the Transformers sequels and various romantic comedies after the show concluded.

His ability to transition between genres solidified his status as a versatile leading man. NBC cancelled Las Vegas in February 2008, a decision that reportedly came as a surprise while the writers were actively planning a 6th season.

Despite the abrupt end, the show left a lasting legacy on its cast and audience. Duhamel's preservation of the iconic vehicle serves as a testament to the impact the series had on his personal and professional journey.
