FAISALABAD: The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has arrested a suspect for allegedly producing and sharing child sexual abuse material on social media, following a tip-off from the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). According to the NCCIA, a cyber report identified Khurram Shehzad as being involved in sexually abusing a minor and recording a video that was subsequently shared on TikTok.
Acting on the report, the agency arrested the suspect and recovered two mobile phones from his possession, which have been sent for forensic analysis. The investigation agency stated that the suspect had been under surveillance for several weeks after the initial alert was received.
