Princess Catherine is reportedly taking the initiative as a mediator to reconnect with Prince Harry for an informal meeting to discuss a way forward, according to sources cited by New Idea. King Charles is understood to be frustrated by the bitter feud between his two sons amid a rough patch of recent controversies, including Charles Spencer's new book and ongoing sensitivities surrounding Princess Diana.

"Kate can't forgive or forget how Harry and Meghan have treated her over the past few years," a royal insider said. "But for the sake of peace, she is open to having an informal meeting with Harry to discuss the way forward."

Sources added that the Princess has been plotting a secret talk and hopes Prince William will eventually get on board and rise above the problem to be gracious, at least publicly.
