Scarlet Rose Stallone says working with her father, Sylvester Stallone, has "completely changed" their relationship. The 24-year-old made the comment to PEOPLE at PaleyFest NY on Saturday, where she discussed starring alongside the 80-year-old Rocky actor in Paramount+ series Tulsa King.
"It's a complete 180," she said, adding that after working together, their dynamic has become very natural. "Before, he was working constantly, so getting to work together for once is just an amazing opportunity," she explained.
She noted that they have grown closer and truly become friends. She has previously spoken about how the show bridged the gap between them.
In an earlier interview with TV Insider, she mentioned that during her childhood, her father's constant work schedule created some distance. Filming the series allowed her to see a different side of him, fostering a more profound respect.
She added that he has helped her navigate the pressures of acting, and she values learning alongside him. Scarlet plays Spencer, a horse caretaker, while her father stars as Dwight Manfredi.
Stallone has five children; Scarlet is the youngest of the three daughters he shares with his wife, Jennifer Flavin, alongside Sophia, 30, and Sistine, 28. The transition from a professional setting to a personal one has been a highlight for the family.
Scarlet emphasized that the time spent on set was not just about the script, but about building a foundation for their future relationship. Observers have noted that the chemistry between the two on screen is palpable, reflecting the real-life bond they have cultivated during the production of the show.
This collaboration has opened doors for Scarlet in the industry. As the series continues to gain popularity, the father-daughter duo remains a focal point for fans.
Their story serves as a testament to how shared professional goals can mend personal rifts. Looking ahead, Scarlet expressed interest in pursuing more projects that allow for such meaningful connections.
She remains grateful for the support her father has provided throughout her budding career. The entertainment industry often sees family collaborations, but the Stallone dynamic is unique due to the legendary status of the patriarch and the fresh perspective brought by his daughter.
