Passing out parade gets underway at Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul

The passing out parade of cadets belonging to the 154th Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Long Course, 39th Technical Graduate Course, 73rd Integrated Course, and 28th Lady Cadet Course is currently underway at the Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul. Commander National Strategic Command (CNSC) General Syed Aamer Raza is attending the prestigious military ceremony as the chief guest, where he is reviewing the parade and witnessing the impressive turnout of the graduating young cadets.

The event marks a significant milestone in the professional lives of the graduating officers, who have undergone rigorous physical, academic, and tactical training at the premier military institution of the country to prepare for future challenges. In comparison, the passing out parade for the previous batch, comprising the 153rd PMA Long Course, 38th Technical Graduate Course, 72nd Integrated Course, 15th Mujahid Course, and 27th Lady Cadet Course, was held earlier in April this year.

During the April ceremony, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu had graced the occasion as the chief guest, reviewing the parade and commending the high standards of discipline and training maintained by the academy. According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military's media wing, the Pakistan Military Academy continues to serve as a beacon of professional excellence and military education not just for Pakistan, but for allied nations as well.

The ISPR highlighted that cadets from several friendly and partner countries, including Iraq, Maldives, Mali, Nepal, Palestine, Qatar, and Sri Lanka, have successfully graduated from the academy alongside their Pakistani counterparts. The presence of international cadets underscores the strong defense and diplomatic ties between Pakistan and these brotherly nations, reflecting mutual trust, cooperation, and shared military values in the region and beyond.

Family members of the graduating cadets, senior military officials, foreign defense attaches, and civil dignitaries are present at the Kakul academy to witness the momentous occasion and celebrate the success of the new military leadership. This is a developing news story, and further updates regarding the speech of the chief guest, distribution of awards, and parade highlights will be incorporated as details are officially released by the military authorities.
