Security forces killed five terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan and injured four others during an intelligence-based operation in the Palantak area of Washuk district in Balochistan under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3. Security sources confirmed that the operation was launched following credible intelligence reports regarding the presence of militants in the region.
The operation targeted terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan, during which their hideouts were engaged with modern weapons. The exchange of fire was intense, but the security forces successfully neutralized the threat while ensuring the safety of the local population in the vicinity.
Security forces recovered a cache of modern weapons and ammunition from the killed terrorists. The recovered items included an RPG-7 (آر پی جی-7) launcher, five rounds, five advanced weapons along with magazines, three mobile phones, and two motorcycles, the sources said.
The killed terrorists were involved in looting local Baloch people, spreading fear and harassment, and damaging infrastructure, they added. These elements had been a source of instability in the area for some time, disrupting the daily lives of the residents.
The local administration and security agencies have reiterated their commitment to maintaining peace and order in Balochistan. They emphasized that such operations will continue until the complete elimination of militant elements from the province.
The security forces have cordoned off the area to conduct a clearance operation, ensuring that no further threats remain. The injured terrorists have been taken into custody and are currently being interrogated to gain further intelligence on their network.
This successful operation is being viewed as a significant blow to the operational capabilities of Fitna al-Hindustan in the Washuk district. The recovery of communication devices and weaponry is expected to provide valuable leads for future intelligence-based operations.
The provincial government has praised the security forces for their swift and decisive action. Officials stated that the state will not tolerate any attempts to undermine the security of the region or the well-being of its citizens.
The operation highlights the ongoing efforts under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3 to cleanse the country of extremist elements. The security apparatus remains on high alert to prevent any retaliatory actions or further disturbances in the district.
As the situation in Palantak returns to normalcy, the security forces continue to maintain a strong presence to prevent any regrouping of the militants. The local community has expressed relief following the successful conclusion of the operation.
